About

T'neeya (born Jennifer Tania Takoh) is a German-Cameroonian singer, songwriter, and creative entrepreneur who works across music and creative direction. Born in Douala and raised in Limbe, a small coastal town in Cameroon, she grew up between her father's Makossa and jazz records and her mother's gospel. She started writing music at 13, moved to Berlin at 18 to study fashion design, then gave herself fully to music, developing her sound between Cameroon, Ghana, and Germany. While in Ghana she signed with Aristokrat Records in 2018, and she went on to found REPCORE, a creative brand built around identity, self-expression, and contemporary African streetwear. A polyglot, she performs in English, French, Pidgin, and German, blending Afro-Soul, R&B, and Afrobeats. In 2024 she released her debut album In Her Thoughts, which has surpassed one million streams.
